Cheerleader Fired for blogging

An Indian Premier League cricket cheerleader, Gabriella Pasqualotto, has been fired from her performing gig at the popular sport after a professional cricket player complained about her tell all online blog.

Reports said 22-year-old Gabriella Pasqualotto lost her dancing job after a complaint was lodged by a well known Australian cricket player who has yet to be named.

Ms Gabriella Pasqualotto would frequently reveal details about misbehaving players at post match parties in her blog "The Secret Diary of an IPL Cheerleader".



Talking to South African cricket media, Gabriella Pasqualotto said: "I wrote what I experienced as a cheerleader. But I am considering taking legal action because I feel that I was fired over something small and silly."

New Zealand media said at least three Australian cricketers - Aiden Blizzard, AndrewSymonds and Moises Henriques - had expressed concern with Gabriella Pasqualotto over the revealing details of their post match party antics.

A section from Gabriella Pasqualotto : "Usually, only after day matches, there is an exclusive after-party and at night is when it all happens. The music pumps, the drinks flow and the cricketers come and go," Gabriella Pasqualotto wrote.

"The real fun happens in the VIP rooms where the players and night owls can cause scandal!, Gabriella Pasqualotto went onto say.

"Ol Graeme Smith will flirt with anything while his girlfriend lurks behind him. The Aussies are fun but naughty... By the end of an evening a certain someone had played kissing catchers with three girls known to me only, although he has his own girlfriend back home. He cooed to each girl, 'Come home with me, I just want to cuddle'."

Ms Gabriella Pasqualotto was one of 40 South African women, mostly white, chosen to dance and party on the cricket outfield ropes during the popular Twenty20 cricket games in India. Gabriella Pasqualotto performed earlier this year in what is one of the most lucrative sports competitions in the world.

"I was sent home as if I was a criminal," Gabriella Pasqualotto said. "I was treated as if I had taken drugs or done something awful, and I was never offered an opportunity to give my side of the story."
