Chatham-Kent police arrested a woman Sunday after she allegedly got cash and pills from her drug dealer by giving him a teenage girl to have sex with.
The 18-year-old girl first reported what happened in May. Police said that in April, a woman picked up the girl and took her to a house in Wallaceburg.
The woman wanted to get drugs from the man at the house. In exchange, he wanted sex. The woman offered up the 18-year-old girl, who had sex with the man she didn’t know.
The man then gave the older woman money and pills.
When the victim first reported it, police couldn’t find the woman. They issued a warrant for her arrest. Investigators tracked her down Sunday. The 42-year-old Walpole Island woman is charged with procuring. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police said they won’t release any more information to “protect the integrity of the investigation.”
