Lady Gaga obsessed with cooking shows

When Lady Gaga is not busy touring the world and working, the singer admits she likes nothing more than spending time in her kitchen.

The 25-year-old says she became obsessed with cooking after watching so many TV shows.

The Judas hitmaker told Heat magazine: 'When I get time off, I like watching cooking shows, I'm really obsessed with them.

'I'm a really good cook now, just from watching those shows. My specialty is Italian.'

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, also added that she still stays in contact with some of her friends from her childhood, despite being such a massive star these days.

She said: 'I went to an all-girls' school, so the few of my friends that I have kept since high school, we'll all just get together and cook and drink six or seven bottles of red wine and talk about life and chill out.'

Lady Gaga to Debut 'Edge of Glory' Single on iTunes Today

Singer announces the news and reveals the song's artwork -- an image of her topless -- via Twitter.

NEW YORK -- Lady Gaga is giving fans another taste of Born This Way before its release.

"Edge of Glory," a new single from Gaga's soon-to-be-released album, will hit iTunes on Monday at 1 p.m. PT, the pop star announced Sunday onTwitter.

Gaga also revealed the single's artwork, an image of her topless and prying her mouth open with her hands, along with a couplet that appears to be a preview of the song's lyrics: "Another shot before we kiss the other side. I'm on the edge of something final we call life."

"Edge of Glory," third song to hit iTunes before Born This Way's May 23 release, will arrive just a few days after Gaga premiered the music video for album's provocative second single, "Judas."

The latter slipped to No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its third week on the chart.
