Fashion tips: pre fall collections 2nd part, military touch

Emporio Armani

We all need a touch of "military severity".

For the next fall our wardrobe should not miss: biker leather jacket and rigorous trousers, clean coats and leggings to wear like a second skin; the military style is back!
Green, brown and black (of course) are the tones of the new military-cool style.
Here are my tips to create a perfect fierce style:

♥ Emporio Armani cigarette pants, so cool;
♥ Givenchy blazer with revers in contrast;
♥ Burberry Prorsum leather leggings, to feel like a dark lady:
♥ The tartan coat with fur by Sonia Rykiel, the ideal choice for the Swedish winter.

♥ I pantaloni a sigaretta di Emporio Armani, così cool;
♥Il blazer con il revers a contrasto di Givenchy;
♥ I leggings in pellet di Burberry Prorsum, per sentirsi una dark lady;

Fashion tips: pre fall collections 1st part, uptown girl

Acne

Special discounts are almost over, it's time to choose our fall style. To find my next season's must I had a look at pre fall collections.

I love glancing through lookbooks, and for this season I found interesting trends. I'll start with my favorite one: the bon ton.
The uptown girl style is never old-fashion, so the hardest thing to do is bringing it up to date. Here are my loves at first sight:
♥ Acne's velvet matelassé skirt, to match with a micro cardigan or a lace shirt;
♥ Bally's raw cut coat, with revers in contrast, so Jackie O';
♥ Fendi's bright blue pull, the silk ribbon is the detail that makes the difference;
♥ BCBG's asymmetrical little dress, I love the way the fuchsia sash makes all the outfit shine;
♥ Carolina Herrera's embroidered jacket.

Which is your favorite one?

Ecco i miei amori a prima vista:
♥ La gonna di velluto matelassé di Acne, da indossare con un micro cardigan o una camicia di pizzo;
♥ Il pull azzurro intenso di Fendi, il fiocco in seta è il dettaglio che fa la differenza;
♥ L'abitino asimmetrico di BCBG, adoro il modo in cui la fusciacca fucsia accende tutto il look;
♥ La giacca lavorata di Carolina Herrera.

Qual è il vostro preferito?

Fashion tips: Jeffrey Campbell

Thanks to my fantastic colleague Janine's tips, today I discovered Jeffrey Campbell.

Despite my known and complete abnegation to shoes, I had never heard of this brand before. This is a serious lack, as it seems to be a real cult brand in Stockholm and in the U.S., and if even Alexa Chung is addicted to Jeffrey Campbell, I must believe it really is.

I am still not sure if I like this style or not, but some items are worth noting: the total black ankle boots (I am sure that every fashionista in Stockholm has her own pair ready for the winter), the multicolor sandals inspired by Ferragamo and the architectural lace up shoes, so Lady Gaga style (will you be able to walk with them?).

Fashion tips: don't forget these two names

Googling Berlin Fashion week's proposals I came across two fabulous designers: Mongrels in common and Don't Shoot The Messengers.

I must admit that I had never heard of them before last night, but from now on I will certainly keep an eye on their collections. Two differents ways, almost complementary, of interpreting fashion, both super cool.

On the one hand Mongrel in common, a brand created in 2006 by Livia Ximénez-Carrillo and Christine Pluess, with a special gipsy flair.
Long flowing skirts, shaped dresses made unique by etnichal necklaces and super chic combinations of colours: pink peach + ice + brown = perfection.
On the other hand the preppy style of Don't Shoot The Messengers, tailored blazers and silk shorts mixed with provocative touches of black leather and breathtaking back necklines.

Are you still not convinced? Then take a look at Mongrels in common fall collection, who wouldn't buy the look #13?! It's absolutely frabulous!!

Assolutamente frabulous!
