See Hilary Duff's Sexy Bikini Body

Monday – July 11, 2011 – 11:23am

Duff's got the right stuff!
While vacationing with husband of one year Mike Comrieon the Island of Capri, Italy Monday, Hilary Duff, 23, showed off her womanly curves in a sexy black bikini. As her Pittsburgh Penguins player husband, 30, took pictures of her in a lagoon, the She Wants Me star struck a series of flirty poses.
How does Duff -- who shot to fame on Disney Channel'sLizzie McGuire in 2001 -- stay in such great shape?
"I work with a trainer named Harley Pasternak and I do a lot of Pilates," she told Us Weekly in April. "I'm just like everyone else. I go through stages where I feel super motivated and want to work out every day, and then I won't

Lindsay Lohan’s August Cover Of Italia Vanity Fair

Bossy (Lindsay Lohan song)Image via Wikipedia
Lindsay Lohan and is on the cover of the August issue of Italian Vanity Fair.
The 25 year-old actress gives the camera her all in a gingham bustier top and white short shorts and tells the magazine she’s not really the type of criminal that should ever have been in jail.
“Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself,” Lohan proclaimed.
The DUI – lucky she didn’t hurt anyone. The jewelry she stole – I suppose in her mind the owners weren’t hurt when she left with their product without paying. Oh Lindsay.
Lohan also mentions she has a permit for a gun, showing it to the photographer, who was able to take the pictures of Lohan because she was on house arrest – anyone catching the odd irony here?
But Lohan, ever the optimist, wants to get back to work and put her troubles behind her.
“In October, I’ll begin work [on Gotti: Three Generations.] I hope to spend next year on set,” she told Italia Vanity Fair.
“It was all a whirlwind but I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 24 [the interview was conducted just prior to her 25th birthday on July 2nd] and I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I feel like if I can just stay focused I can achieve what I want to achieve.”
With this cover and story, will American Vanity Fair still have her for the September issue as rumored? But more importantly, do her issues sell?
Either way, check out her photos below.

Forgotten Italian drawing

The problem with drawing in multiple sketchbooks is that you often forget to upload/ scan a drawing here and there. Look what I found! A drawing from our day visit to San Gimignano... I think I meant to color this in eventually with watercolors...

What do you mean, it's closed every Sunday??

So, Sunday (Nov 22nd, if you're keeping track), Damon and I had a rocky start to our Sunday.

First, we woke up and our power went out. So, no hot water (couldn't get the pilot light lit to heat the water), so no shower, and no electricity.

Then, we were like, ok, let's go to brunch at that one place that looked like they have a good brunch. Get there, they're closed Sunday.

Ooo-k. So then, we think, fine, let's go food shopping at the Central Market and get stuff for dinner. And they're closed! And apparently, they've always been closed on Sundays. It seems we were traveling so much every single weekend, we never even noticed the market was closed every sunday.

(and there was a really gross pigeon who had a stump for a foot hanging around outside).

But, we ended up getting food elsewhere, we got the power situation back up and working, and all ended up happy : D

Old fashioned girl in jeans

Damon and I came across a crazy sight today- we were walking in the main part of Florence, when all of a sudden, we heard drums. Thinking it was a parade, we went over to the square and saw what basically was a Renaissance Faire-type recreation, complete with a drum corps and tons of people in Renaissance clothing. (of all times to have forgotten my camera! argh!)

It was really cool watching the drum/ color guard performance they gave- we must have missed the first part, because after that, they all seemed to pack up and leave pretty quickly... it appears they were helping the opening ceremonies for a weekend long New Olive Oil festival (where local olive oil producers come and sell the season's latest pressing of Olive Oil)...

Anyway there was this pretty girl who was hoisting her old fashioned Renaissance dress up since it was damp on the ground, and was wearing very fashionable jeans and boots underneath- it was a very funny paradox!

Tastes like the Renaissance...

I saw a dog happily licking the pavement / questionable piece of paper outside the Duomo today and thought it must be Renaissance flavored...

Venus

Inspired from Botticelli's "Birth of Venus"

(if you like this, stay tuned! I have a cleaned up version of her for sale!!)

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Damon and I celebrated our first year of being married back on November 16th by going out to the Florence Archeological museum (to see their awesome Etruscan collection) and out to a most lovely dinner!!!

Happy Anniversary my darling husband!!!

Easily distracted

So, Damon and I decided to get a small grill at our local kitchen supply store here in Florence.  While Damon was struggling to try and communicate what we were looking for, I was distracted by the CUTEST scottie dog ever! Seriously, I think it was my first Scottie dog I ever met. So sweet!

Stylin' like an Italian

I've had to gradually update my clothing to reflect A. the weather, and B. Italian fashion, since apparently Los Angeles fashion is waay too schleppy for Italy!

This is my piece that I'm shipping from Florence to be in the show-

"Cavalli di San Marco"
2009, Watercolor on Aquarelle paper
Custom Florentine frame with silver gilding

The frame (not pictured yet) is going to by a Florentine framer- they take their framing VERY seriously here!! It's a whole artform in and of itself...

The piece is of the Four Horses of St Marks.. originally from an ancient Roman hippodrome in Constaninople!

Lost in Venice

Venice is a very easy place to get lost.  However, the good thing is you're stuck on an island.  The bad thing is that there are many different ways to get back to St Marks square, which makes things very confusing at times!
