Before you read the news story, I ask you this: How can a TV show be considered Illegal Pornography?? Video Below.
The Coalition for the War on Illegal Pornography believes that NBC’s new series “The Playboy Club” is promoting the cause they are fighting against.
The group believes that the show will contribute to the sexual exploitation of women and promote the acceptance of pornography all while making a profit.
“Since the 50s, sleazy Hugh Hefner and his Playboy Magazine has pushed a philosophy which dictated that, to the 'sophisticated man,' the female is a mere toy to be used, abused and discarded. That philosophy has inflicted unimaginable harm to our society, now documented by years of research,” Patrick A. Trueman, the President of Morality in Media said in a statement.
“Today – with the cooperation of NBC and the network's use of the public airwaves – Playboy is poised to cause even more harm, this time bringing its sleaze directly into America's living rooms. We don't need NBC to pour more fuel to that fire," he added.
Trueman wants citizens to sign a pledge at www.CloseTheClubOnNBC.com to help halt production of the series.
“The Playboy Club” is scheduled to be a part of NBC’s lineup this fall.

You must know the sextastic wonderment that is Cleo Pires, Brazilian award-winning film actress and telenovela star and one of the many reasons I'm headed down to Rio soon, very soon, to take in the sights and sounds, and sights. Playboy Brazil featured Cleo Pires in their 35th anniversary edition last Fall, and have brought her back double time, with twice the boobtastic flare, for their special edition this month featuring some of the very best of Brazilian native hotness. As if being the birth place of a dozen or more of the world's finest supermodels was not enough, not it's actresses gone hot and nekkid. I really do think I may have found my true adopted homeland. Enjoy.

Oh the embarrassment. After the much-hyped "Wonder Woman" remake was announced to have signed its cast, word's just out that NBC has rejected bringing the series onto the network. You may be shocked to learn what NBC saw as the show's biggest problem...
It was Wonder Woman's costume. "Friday Night Lights" star Adrianne Palicki was reported to have beat out multiple other well-known young actresses for the part of "Wonder Woman" in the pilot of the superheroine remake for NBC. With David E. Kelley at the helm, it looked as though the show would be an absolute go, especially when English model-actress Elizabeth Hurley announced she'd be playing the villain.

Not so, says NBC, now that they've seen the pilot. Turns out what got taped was totally underwhelming and Palicki failed to impress. Not helping was the fact that Wonder Woman's famed outfit had been redesigned in a fashion that just clearly isn't working.
Remember the busty, feminine stars-and-stripes getup Lynda Carter sported? Adrianne Palicki was made to don a red bustier with angular adornments and PVC pants instead of the classic blue starred hot pants.

On her feet? Shoes so strange and ugly they rival Lady Gaga's taste; a played-down pair of cowboy boots that look more like something a Kentucky farmer would wear than a sex-symbol superhero. The UK's "Daily Mail" says they believe wardrobe stylists were going for a Greek goddess look; and indeed they had to be living in a mythical world if they thought this outfit would fly.
So, "Wonder Woman" is a no-go, which is a disppointment for longtime fans everywhere. Meanwhile, who should they have cast? Put Katy Perry in a Wonder Woman getup and stunt classes...now that would get some ratings.

'Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea': Chelsea Handler NBC Pilot Picked Up For Series
Image via WikipediaChelsea Handler, it seems, is slowly taking over all of Hollywood.Already the host of "Chelsea Lately" and "After Lately" on E!, and the just-announced star of horror-comedy "Mall," Handler is heading to network TV; her sitcom pilot for NBC has just been optioned to series for next year.
Based on her memoir, "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," Handler will executive produce and co-star as Sloane Hanson, fictionalized version of her older sister. Laura Prepon, best known as Donna from "That 70's Show," will play the role of Chelsea.
